Rolo Spiders are a fun and easy Halloween treat that everyone will love. Made with just a few simple ingredients, these spooky little spiders are equal parts cute and delicious. With an Oreo base, a gooey Rolo body, chocolate legs, and candy eyes, they’re the perfect no-bake snack for kids and adults alike.

I love Halloween treats like this one. Halloween is such a creative and fun holiday with so many cute characters to create, like these Halloween monster cheeseburgers, Frankenstein cupcakes, and these fun spiderweb cupcakes.
Why You’ll Love These Rolo Spiders
- Kid-friendly: The kids can help with assembling these cute spider cookies.
- Fast: They only take minutes to put together.
- Festive: Perfect for Halloween parties, school treats, or a fun family activity.
Ingredients You’ll Need:

- Oreo Cookies
- Rolo candies
- Brown Chocolate Melts
- Candy Eyes
How to make Rolo Spiders
Cookies – Gently twist open each Oreo cookie, keeping the cream side intact.
Adding the Spider body – Place a Rolo candy right in the center of the cream side.

Make the legs – Melt your chocolate melts and transfer the melted chocolate into a piping bag or zip-top bag with the corner snipped off. Pipe out 3–4 legs on each side of the Rolo so that it resembles spider legs extending across the cookie.

Attach the eyes – Dab a small amount of melted chocolate onto the back of each candy eye and press them onto the front of the Rolo.

Set and serve – Allow the chocolate to firm up (you can pop them in the fridge to speed it up), then serve your spooky spider cookies.

Expert Tips
Melting Chocolate: Place the chocolate melts in a microwave-safe glass bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted. Avoid heating for more than 90 seconds, or the chocolate may harden.
Piping Tips: Using a piping bag is recommended over a zip-top bag, as it gives you better control. Simply snip a tiny hole at the tip and squeeze out the chocolate to create precise spider legs.
Variations
Cookie Base: Use other cookies besides Oreo cookies.
Spider Bodies: Used mini Reese’s cups instead of Rolos
