This Snow Hot Chocolate Recipe is a fun substitute for traditional hot cocoa. You can even mix this white chocolate drink all together in a crockpot before you head out to sled or have some fun outdoors on a cold night, so it’s ready to drink when you return home.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of half and half
- 6 cups of milk
- 12 oz. package of white chocolate chips
- 1 t vanilla
- optional dash of nutmeg – and/or – cinnamon
Instructions:
- Mix everything together in a dutch oven and stir over medium heat until the chocolate chips are melted – bring to a boil and reduce heat – let simmer for about 30 minutes (stirring occasionally) **if you are using a crockpot – set the heat on low, and mix everything together in the pot – stir when you get home to mix chocolate in
