This snow cocoa is a fun substitute for the other hot cocoa! You can even mix it all together in a crock pot before you head out to sled or have some fun outdoors on a cold night, so it’s ready to drink when you return home. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 2 cups of half and half
  • 6 cups of milk
  • 12 oz. package of white chocolate chips
  • 1 t vanilla
  • optional dash of nutmeg – and/or – cinnamon

Now, on to the snow cocoa:

  • Mix everything together in a dutch oven and stir over medium heat until the chocolate chips are melted – bring to a boil and reduce heat – let simmer for about 30 minutes (stirring occasionally) **if you are using a crock pot – set the heat on low, and mix everything together in the pot – stir when you get home to mix chocolate in
