Smoked Sausage Stir Fry – A Simple And Delicious Meal

It’s delicious, hearty, easy, and inexpensive to make. A filling meal for cold winter nights and requires very little time in the kitchen!

You’ll Need:

  • Cooked Brown Rice
  • Olive Oil – about 1 T
  • Vegetables – sliced (some suggestions are sweet onion, green pepper, carrot, mushrooms)
  • Tomatoes – 2-3 medium – coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 t of salt
  • Smoked Sausage – cut into 1/2 inch pieces

Now, on to the cooking part:


  • In a large skillet – heat the olive oil and add all of the vegetables – reserving the tomatoes for later
  • Cook for about 10 minutes over medium heat, or until vegetables are tender and onion is translucent
  • Add the tomatoes and cook until tomatoes are soft, and juices are running – about 4 minutes
  • Add the salt and stir in
  • Add the smoked sausage and continue to cook until sausage is heated through and browned on the outer edges
  • Smoked Sausage Stir Fry
  • Set plates up by scooping some brown rice onto the plate and topping with Smoked Sausage Mix
  • Optional Extras: Soy Sauce and Chow Mein Noodles
