Easter treats don’t get any easier than these Peep Dirt Cups. They are fun, colorful, and simple – the perfect Easter snack for busy moms and caregivers to make.

Ingredients

  • Chocolate pudding cups
  • Oreo Cookies
  • Rainbow Licorice
  • Bunny Peeps

How to Make Peep Easter Dirt Cups

Grind Oreo Cookies in a blender

Take the lids off of the pudding cups

Pour a large spoonful of ground Oreos onto the pudding cups

Cut orange licorice strips into two-inch-long pieces

Use kitchen sheers to snip slits opposite each other onto the top of each orange piece of licorice

Cut four green pieces of licorice – each about one inch long

Use the kitchen shears to snip the top of the green pieces into three strips – this will be the top leaves of the carrot

Press the other end of the green licorice so it is a bit smaller than a normal licorice size

Fit the smaller tip of the green licorice into the orange licorice that has been cut open so the strips are upward, making a licorice carrot

I pressed the green licorice at the tip so it formed a smaller tip. Cutting slits into the orange licorice will expand it and allow more room for the green one to fit.

Certainly! Making chocolate pudding from a box or pudding from scratch is always better than processed pudding. Use clear plastic cups to serve the dirt cups in.

Storing

You can store these cups in the refrigerator for one to two days. I stored mine in the fridge overnight without covering them, and they were still perfect. If I were to store them longer than that, I would cover them to maintain moisture.
