How to Make these Donut Snowman Skewers
Build the body: Push three mini powdered donuts onto a white treat stick to form the snowman’s body.
Add the hat: Place a mini Reese’s cup upside down on top of the stick.
Make the face: Use mini chocolate chips for the eyes and smile, pressing the pointed ends into the top donut.
Add the buttons: Gently push brown M&Ms into the centers of the two lower donuts.
Create the nose: Dab a bit of white frosting on the end of an orange Mike & Ike and place it into the center of the top donut.
Add a bow (optional): Use frosting to attach a red and white polka dot ribbon below the head to finish the look – or – try an edible scarf version with pull-n-peel licorice.
Variations
Try colorful M&Ms or sprinkles for fun, festive buttons.
Replace the Reese’s cup with a Rolo for a top hat.
Add a scarf made of fruit roll-up strips instead of ribbon for an edible twist.
